Hi friend, today we discuss on how to recover deleted chat lines in whatsApp. WhatsApp automatically makes backups every day and stores them on the SD card of your phone. To restore the most recent backup, you will need to uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp in your phone. In the installation process, you will find “Restore your message history “option. Choose Restore to restore your missing chats. You can restore only up to 7 days of backup.

If you want to take your chat backup by every week then create a manual backup: -

   

1. Open WhatsApp

2. Click on Menu Button

3. Go to Settings then Chat Settings

4. Click on Backup conversations

5. Now you take backup of your chat and it save in your SD card (/sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder) as name "msgstore.db.crypt".

6. Now change this file name by date “msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.db.crypt" for your convenes.

How to restore WhatsApp chat from a backup: -

1. Uninstall WhatsApp.

2. Decide which backup file you want to restore.

3. Rename that file from "msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.db.crypt" to "msgstore.db.crypt"

4. Install WhatsApp

5. Installation process asked to restore your backup, Choose Restore option
